Got some pictures of animals found in Japan and some architecture to base the environments off of. Some of the fish and lizards I was thinking of using bits and pieces of in the design for the eight headed dragon, especially that eyeless dried out thing. I also found some prints depicting the Yamato no Orochi myth for stylistic influences; I think an animated film with the look of a Japanese print would be totally rad.
